Cremant refers to French sparkling wine made in the traditional method outside of Champagne and is specific to a handful of regions. This Moscato is a favourite among Moscato fans and one of Audrey Wilkinson's fastest moving wines. A delicate and lively wine on the palate with ripe red berries, balanced with a crisp acidity and a hint of spritz. Celebrating its 150th vintage in 2016, Audrey Wilkinson is recognised as one of the first vineyards in the Hunter Valley and has a rich history in the region. They continue today to produce wines of regional character with fine craftsmanship.

Sparkling shiraz is as Australian as anything, and one of the best value is from Seppelt, with the current vintage drinking superbly. Surprisingly soft and plump with ripe and giving tannins; while it's dry, there's some sweet fruit sensation on the palate that helps with dishes that have heat spikes and spice, especially Indian. Lots of plum fruit, spice and earthy notes, too, with fine acid and the fizz hit offers a refreshing lift.

Brown Brothers continue their run of good form with yet another brilliant sparkling wine that offers jaw-dropping value for money. The wine explodes in the mouth a soft creamy feeling that is a direct result of the very fine bubble. The green apple flavours carry through to the palate with lemon citrus notes accompanied by the soft creaminess and a delicate and refreshing acid on the finish.
