Blisse Chardonnay

Harmonious Home-Grown Chardonnay Dozen

Two Coonawarra multi-award-winners show how good the region’s whites are now, and these are joined by Mountadam’s 94pt “very well executed Eden Valley … with bell-clear varietal character” (Halliday). Fresh drops from Quarisa, Angove and a Zonte’s Adelaide Hills star complete the case. At $14.99 they're brilliant value, but UNLIMITED members get to enjoy the dozen at $13.99 a bottle!

Three Jailbirds Chardonnay

From the talented hands and refined palate of winemaker extraordinaire John Quarisa comes this Jailbirds Chardonnay. Chill a bottle in the fridge and watch as everyone flocks to this easy-drinking beauty. It's the perfect partner to a creamy pasta or a delicious cheeseboard.

Angaston Road Growers Mick Gillon Coonawarra Chardonnay

Marauding Vintners Langhorne Creek Lady Chardonnay

For the Marauding Vintners, real wine is not a commodity, but an expression of people, place and time, where art and nature merge. They know the real deal is often found off the beaten track, and devote time to tracking down the genuine characters. Lady Chardonnay is quite the actress. Born, it's said, from a liaison between a French aristocrat and an uncultivated 'peasant'. She appears the world over in many guises, winning rave reviews in Burgundy, Champagne and select Aussie venues – appearing luscious and well-rounded where the sun shines most, lean and elegant in cooler climes. You'll adore the fresh, modern, beautifully balanced performance she gives here.

Angove Bin 256 Chardonnay

With 130 years of expertise under the family’s belt, Angove have plenty of experience to call upon. In recent years they have been awarded ‘Winery of the Year’ and many medals besides for individual wines. Fourth generation John Angove now heads up the cellar that Dr William Angove started in 1886 near Adelaide (by making award winning brandy – a product they’re still famous for) and, besides championing unusual grapes, John also pioneers modern styles of wine. His 2018 turns its back on the weighty, golden, heavily oaked Chardonnays of last century and embraces bright stone fruit, shot through by lemony brilliance. No wonder this grape is back in favour.

McPherson's The Full Fifteen Chardonnay

Andrew grew up in the world of wine and went on to work for some top names in Australia before settling down to craft really characterful, great value wines like this one, under his own name. A small amount of fermentation in oak has lent The Full Fifteen Chardonnay lovely toasty nuances, a nutty complexity and a soft creamy character.
