Jim Brand was a deeply passionate Coonawarra winemaker and vigneron who was born into the third generation of an Australian winemaking dynasty. Today, the family continue Jim’s legacy by crafting premium Coonawarra wines which reflect Jim Brand's drive, passion and endless pursuit for quality. The striking 93pt Yates Chardonnay is the perfect example of well known Cabernet regions, like Coonawarra, being home to equally impressive Chardonnay. A perfumed nose combines peach and stone fruit aromas with creamy buttery and vanillin oak characters. The palate is complex, smooth and rounded with a balanced acid structure. It displays strong peach and nectarine accompanied by creamy cashew nuts from barrel fermentation and maturation. Lingering fruit flavours last well after the last sip.
