le timbre PushTh'LittleDaisies

As always, the grapes for the le timbre PushTh'LittleDaisies 2020 vintage were handpicked and wild fermented. The sauvignon blanc grapes come from the Macedon Ranges in Victoria and hard de-stemmed and macerated on skins in the mountains for a month, pressed and aged in barrel for a further 10 months. Racked by gravity and bottled with not additions aside from a pinch of sulphur (30ppm). Always unfined and unfiltered. The resulting wine has flavours of white liquorice, lemonade fruits, and lavender butter. le timbre is made in a small shed surrounded by an acre of vines in Keilor, Melbourne, Australia.​ They currently work with growers practicing a variety of farming methods. Everything else is done on-site by hand with the help of friends and family.

Think back back to the early days when Kiwi Savvy was just starting to hit our shelves and how gob-smacked we were over the quality, vibrancy and sheer drinkability of such an aromatic wine. Catalina Sounds still exudes all of those fantastic qualities that we all fell in love with. Perfumed aromas of gooseberry with hints of tropical fruit, the palate follows with fresh and zingy characters that display ripe passionfruit and citrus flavours all complimented by lingering acidity.

Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc

Cloudy Bay has produced a Sauvignon Blanc of vibrant intensity. The characteristically uplifting aromas of kaffir lime, lemon zest and nectarine, with the floral notes of orange blossom on the nose; A weighty texture of ripe citrus and stone fruit flavours balanced by a minerally-citrus acid backbone with a finish that is crisp and clean on the palate. The wine has elegant line and length; refined, fleshy yet focused and refreshing.

Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc

A relatively new name but Dog Point's owners have years of experience in Marlborough and this label is much sought after. This release is beautifully textured rich and delicious.

Amisfield Sauvignon Blanc

Aromatics of freshly cut pineapple and pink grapefruit notes, the palate shows subtle creamy notes and texture with refined minerality.

Golden Child Island Life Fume Blanc

Made from hand-picked Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc, Golden Child Island Life Fume Blanc 2021 is crisp and textural, with zingy citrus and spicy stone-fruit flavours. Hand-picked on a cool morning and whole bunch pressed directly to oak barrels. Natural yeast fermented then kept on full lees for five month. Blended then bottled. Golden Child Wines is a collaboration between grape grower David Hamilton and winemaker James. Their grapes are grown sustainably in the Kuitpo sub-region of the Adelaide Hills (no synthetic herbicides, pesticides or fertilisers). Their wines are made using natural yeast fermentation and are bottled with minimal additives. Golden Child wines are 100% vegan friendly.

Domaine Christian Salmon Sancerre

Terre A Terre Crayeres Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

An elegant and age-worthy barrel-ferment style, Terre à Terre Sauvignon Blanc shows attractive lemon-rind and nettle notes complemented by mid-palate creamy texture and gunflint complexity. The wine is barrel-fermented in a mix of barriques and large 600L demi-muids. Maturation then takes place over 6-9 months to build texture and complexity.
