The Bin 28 is named after the Kalimna vineyard that was purchased back in 1945 and from which the original fruit was sourced from. Today, the Bin 28 is a great example of the Penfolds dedication to multi-region, multi-vineyard blending. The Barossa Valley will always remain an integral part of the Bin 28 blend providing rich, vibrant primary fruit flavours.

The fruit is sourced from three sites around the Peninsula which has the spice and black pepper characters, that are characteristic of this wine. Penfolds Maxs Cabernet Sauvignon is a regional blend that gives the wine a fuller more intense mouthfeel. It has rich blackcurrant and toffee-apple like aromas on the nose, followed by dense savoury varietal fruits on the palate. Tannins are firm with subtle oaks leading to a long finish.

Galliano Black is one of the most recognised Sambucas thanks to its distinctive tapered bottles and intense anise flavour. Serve it neat, on ice, added to coffee or as a flaming shot.

The wine is very refined, showing some good mineral and slate characteristics. Delicate aromas of lemon, limes and bath salts. Lingering flavours of lemon pith, green citrus and apples. Good fruit and acid balance. Drinks well now, and will reward with long-term cellaring.

Heathcote Estate has quickly emerged as an icon Shiraz producer from a region that continues to show its Shiraz pedigree. Tom Carson crafts this wonderful example that displays a rich bouquet of prunes licorice and plums with a deep dense palate showing quality oak is indicative of a wine which will age superbly.Every effort is made to include a gift box with delivery, however this cannot be guaranteed.

The Piccadilly Valley welcomed the Croser family back into the Tapanappa Winery with a typical cool weather vintage of exemplary quality. Stone fruit, honeydew and lemon zest, with spicy cedar oak in support. Medium bodied, tangy lemony acidity, almond and spice, firm and flinty finish. Its a wine of structure and coiled up power. Good now, but ideally needs a couple of years in the winerack.
