The wine is gorgeously fruited and fragrant on the nose showing dark fruit richness with smoked game, vanilla, chocolate tart and cedar characters. The palate is concentrated and wonderfully weighted, delivering fabulous fruit intensity and stylish oak infusion, backed by fine chalky tannins, finishing superbly long and sturdy. An intricately layered palate structure of ripe fruit and oak flavours seamlessly combined by maturation in barrels. Ripe dark berries, hints of dusty mulberry and spicy plums with subtle vanilla, mocha and chocolate oak flavours are richly interwoven. This gorgeous Walters Reserve Cabernet features a deep crimson red colour with dark hues. The attractive bouquet and the lush palate flaunt sharp nuances of blackberry, chocolate and bramble coupled with subtle earthy and savoury undertones. These vibrant elements, supported by a fine and elegant tannin structure, end the wine in a spicy and captivating finish. Drinking well with red meats, game dishes, or a delicious cheese plate.

The fruit was tenderly harvested from select rows from our best Cabernet Sauvignon block and processed into red fermenters where they are gently pumped over three times a day during fermentation to maximize colour extraction. Medium to full bodied wine with elegant, well integrated red berry and black currant fruit fill the palate, followed by a succulent, fleshy but firm tannin structure.

Subtle threads of violets, cherry blossom and fresh juniper berries serve as highlights to an ample tapestry of black plums, cacao nib and ironstone. Sheer textures of crushed granite and black cherry skin are laced with porcelain tannin and quenching natural acidity.
