The Mangan Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is the sibling to the Cullen Vineyard version and shares the same level of elegance and flavour precision. Add to that precision an added layer of complexity and texture on the palate and you have what many consider to be Western Australia's premier 'classic dry white'.

Wine is characterized with a greenish-yellow colour. The smell is typified with expressed herbal fruity notes of fern and citrus tones. Its taste ample with harmony, softness and roundness.

Amongst the sea of quality Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that is flooding Australia, Seresin Sauvignon Blanc stands out as having that something extra: perhaps it is the wild yeast ferment; perhaps the partial barrel ferment; or perhaps it is the 5 per cent of Semillon in the blend. MISHA'S VINEYARD The Starlet Sauvignon Blanc, Central Otago Mishas Vineyard is located on a spectacular site in New Zealand on the edge of Lake Dunstan in the Bendigo sub-region of Central Otago. The sun-drenched, north-west facing terraces of the 57 hectare estate provide optimal conditions for producing world-class Pinot Gris. A no compromise philosophy requires exacting viticulture regimes, hand-picking, and considerate winemaking methodologies. The fruit for this wine is hand-picked and whole bunch pressed. The free run and early press portion (70%) is handled anaerobically settled, racked, inoculated and then cool fermented in stainless steel without air contact. The remaining juice portion is handled more oxidatively and spends time in older French oak barrels where it goes through a spontaneous ferment. Blending the two components contributes complexity to both the flavour and texture of the finished wine, which typically shows exotically fragrant aromas of elderflower, lime and passionfruit and a rounded palate with tropical fruits and pineapple notes balanced by fresh citrus acidity.

An elegant refined style, this Sauvignon Blanc comes from several parcels of vines adjacent to the Huangarua river in the Te Muna Road vineyard in Martinborough. A portion of the wine is barrel fermented in large old oak and French oak barriques imparting additional structure and textural complexity.

A riper expression of Sauvignon here. Quince, a little smoke, fresh pineapple, honey and leaf, a fleshy glossy glide, but cut with flinty texture and pink grapefruit acidity, finish is particularly long with orchard fruit, quinine and a smattering of green herb. Excellent wine.
