KRONDORF The Honorary Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa Valley

Impenetrable midnight black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromas of blackcurrant infused with black olive escape from the glass trailed by some cigar box, bay leaf and spice. Rich blackcurrant and plum fruits are interwoven with a cedary tobacco, subtle black olive and spicy bay leaf characters. Fine grained tannins provide a sturdy support base. Concludes long, ripe and spicy. Drink over the next 4-5 years. Alc. 14.2%

2015 ’Pantelis’ Cabernet Sauvignon The Pantelis Cabernet Sauvignon is our signature wine and bears the name of the family patriarch. Pantelis Zachopoulos (1927-1998) immigrated to Australia from Greece in 1966 with his wife Olga and four children. His diverse agricultural knowledge was passed onto his children Michael, Nicholas and myself [Zissis]. In 1998 a few months before his passing we purchased and began establishing our vineyard in the Barossa Ranges. I decided to make this wine in his honor as a token of our appreciation for everything he has taught us. The wine has dark rich fruits, plum and blackcurrant with a touch of typical Cabernet herbaceousness on the nose. The palate is long and full with lovely dark chocolate, Mocca and cassis favours.

Sourced from the finest vineyards of the renowned Barossa region and using traditional winemaking techniques, our wine is a classic representation of the region to be perfectly paired with all your favourite cuts of meats and fish. This buttery Chardonnay offers yellow peach and nectarine notes with a hint of melon. A full and generous palate that is creamy and textural with sweet vanillin oak.

Full and rich in the mouth. Full bodied with a saturation of black and blue toned berries. Tannins are firm and fine grained with alcohol and acid nicely integrated into the structure of the wine. Complex flavours of preserved dark fruits overlaid with a suggestion of marzipan. A fresh, tight finish with hints of eucalyptus.

The deep purple colour is accentuated by vibrant red hues. This Cabernet Sauvignon is complex, with vibrant flavours of forest berries and plums with underlying savoury notes of spice French oak. The ripe berry characters flow smoothly onto the palate, combining with spices and vanilla oak and soft chewy tannins.

The 2023 vintage of Spinifex Lucette Cordon Cut Semillon is a standout example of the exceptional quality that can be found in the Barossa Valley. The wine, produced by the renowned South Australian winery Spinifex, boasts a vibrant golden hue that glistens in the glass. On the nose, enticing aromas of honey, candied citrus, and apricot mingle with delicate hints of vanilla and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is rich and luscious, with layers of ripe tropical fruit, honeycomb, and a touch of spice.
