The development of this wine was an integral part of a winemakers 9-year, but ultimately unsuccessful, battle with bowel cancer. The first wine under this label was a Riesling and to this day, part of the proceeds from the sale of each bottle to fund his sons education.

The fruit for this excellent Clare Riesling is sourced from Kaesler's estate vineyards which have an average vine age of 58 years. Brilliant water like core with a greenish tinged outskirts. Jumping out of the glass with intensity are lime, lemon and orange rind scents followed by talc and mineral notes. Mouth watering flavours of lime, citrus and orange rind are delivered with terrific concentration and textural volume across the palate. Chalky talc and flinty mineral elements linger underneath. Finishes dry and crisp with crunchy acidity and a long snappy aftertaste. Drink over the next 5-6 years. Alc. 13%

This wine delivers a fragrant bouquet of passionfruit, citrus blossom and delicate floral notes. Flavours of kiwifruit, quince, lemon zest and crisp green apple are balanced by a refreshing, rounded acidity. The body is both elegant and vibrant, offering a smooth, off-dry mouthfeel with a lingering textured finish.

Aromas of honey melon and peaches, the palate is ripe and zesty with a touch of spice and a juicy, fresh acid finish that lingers in the mouth. A lovely balance of texture, from the oak ferment, and crispness, create beautifully weighted Pinot Gris.

Classic botrytis affected dessert wine displaying characteristic honey and marmalade concentrated sweet fruit balanced by crisp acid on a lingering luscious finish. Time in oak and bottle has matured the wine so it's ready to enjoy upon release.

Delightfully fresh and zippy Clare Valley Semillon, delicious on its own and lovely with fresh seafood.
