The Tate family are one of the most famous wine names in Western Australia, especially in Margaret River. It was the Tate family who began Evans & Tate decades ago and today the Tate name is re-born under the Franklin Tate Estates label. Franklin, son of John, has sourced some of the most prestigious vineyard sites in Margaret River and has highly regarded winemaker Rory Clifton-Parks to hand-craft the quality wines, like this traditional Chardonnay.

Annie's Lane from South Australia's Clare Valley produce a Chardonnay that has toasty nutty oak flavours that perfectly complement the rich melon, baked fig varietal characters of the grape in this soft, full-flavoured Chardonnay.

Lindeman's Early Harvest Crisp Chardonnay is a medium bodied wine with lively acidity and aromas of tropical fruit salads with subtle spicy vanilla oak undertone on the palate. Yering Station, located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, is home to some of Australia's greatest Chardonnay. Their Little Yering Chardonnay provides all the complex aromas and flavours you expect from the artisans from the Melba Highway, but with a price tag that more than friendly. Toasted almonds, lemon/lime notes and a clean, lingering acid that provides an effortless length of flavour.

With over 33% more wine than a normal bottle, Hardys have made a Chardonnay with ripe fruit aromas of peach and melon. Round and flavoursome on the palate with a touch of oak and appealing freshness on the finish.

Red Hill is one of the more popular wineries in Victoria due to their fantastic quality wines are quite brilliantly priced. Their Cool Climate Chardonnay shows great concentration of white peach, nectarine and white flower blossom on the nose. And tropical fruits such as pineapple, honeydew and ripe peach, intergraded with structured acidity on the palate. This wine has a great clean finish. Ideal to drink now or for careful medium-term cellaring.
