Organically farmed Sauvignon Blanc from Yarra Valley

Aromas of green apple and toasted almonds characterise this 2021 Yarra Valley Chardonnay. On the palate, flavours of pineapple and honeydew melon unfold, complemented by a touch of butterscotch. Crisp acidity and a silky texture lead to a refreshing finish with hints of spice and lemon curd.

Thoroughly refreshing and classy, this is a 93pt, great Value Yarra Valley beauty from an "outrageously successful Yarra Valley winery... run by husband-and-wife team Leanne De Bortoli and Steve Webber but owned by the De Bortoli family" (Halliday). "... a complex touch of freshly struck match to go with the ripe, white nectarines and pink grapefruit scents. Fills out nicely on the generous yet nicely structured and poised palate. Once again this producer provides us with a handy little number showing plenty of varietal and regional characteristics. Sticks Pinot Noir from Yarra Valley, features lovely red cherry flavours with playfull spices and charry oak influence. Lean with subtle tannins and medium finish.

Shadowfax Chardonnay is blended from premium cool climate districts of southern Victoria. This Chardonnay crafted by Matt Harrop is elegant and complex with attractive varietal and barrel derived characters.

From Kate Goodman's team, who already bring us the wonderful Punt Rd range, this second label perpetuates their well deserved reputation. This is a soft, fruit driven Pinot from sites around the Yarra Valley. It offers great complexity at this price.

Yering Station, located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, is home to some of Australia's greatest Chardonnay. Their Little Yering Chardonnay provides all the complex aromas and flavours you expect from the artisans from the Melba Highway, but with a price tag that more than friendly. Toasted almonds, lemon/lime notes and a clean, lingering acid that provides an effortless length of flavour.

The Amen Break Quarry Ridge Victoria Chardonnay shows lifted aromatics of fig and pear, complexing reductive elements and a hint of white florals. The palate is very concentrated, with fig, pear, wet stones, and a hint of mealy phenolic at the finish. Acidity is bright and frames the palate beautifully. This is a totally modern, thoroughly authentic expression of cool grown, high altitude chardonnay.

De Bortoli are the market leaders for premium quality cask wines here in Australia and here is a great example why. A fresh, vibrant and fruity style Semillon Chardonnay that has delicious lemon, lime and white peach flavours with a creamy texture and crisp acidity.
