This Two Hands Shiraz is full bodied but very buoyant. Bright flavours are lifted and accented by notes of fresh blue and blackberry with hints of plum. Creamy complexity through the palate adds depth and interesting texture. Palate has great depth and a coating nature but doesnt feel heavy. Tannins start mid-palate and leave a lovely rolling chewy nature. Spicy through the finish with vanilla and sweet baking spices.

Bin 138 draws its inspiration from the wines of Southern Rhône, where shiraz, grenache and mataro (mourvèdre) are blended in varying proportions to create full-bodied wines possessing rich and heady perfume. Each year fruit for Bin 138 is sourced from old Barossa Valley vines (some more than 100 years old).Bright red garnet in colour, with raspberry-leaf and pastille fruits on fruits on the nose supported by discrete hints of boot polish and stewed meats. The Old Salem Church was built with humble claystone in 1856. The church was destroyed in the flood of 1946, Old Salem lives on in the memorial stone laid in our neighbouring vineyard and in the grapes harvested from it. These are blended with carefully selected premium grapes from other longstanding Barossa family growers to create this distinctive Barossa Shiraz. This rich Shiraz has an intense nose of satsuma plum, blackberry and hints of spice. The palate holds concentrated flavours of plum, dark berries, dark chocolate and aniseed, while new and seasoned French oak provides balance and support to the intensity of the fruit

From a stunning Barossa red wine vintage of low yields and exceptional quality one of the greats that produced classic Greenock Creek styled wines of robust flavour and firm structure. The Four Cuttings Shiraz is an extension of our single site approach, capturing the personality and character of single vineyard sites from four iconic Barossa sub-regions - Tanunda, Koonunga, Lyndoch & Rosedale. Our aim is to harness the contrasting characters derived from the soil profile and climate variations across these four sites to present a seamless expression of Greenock Creek wine. The nose is rich with blueberry & black cherry which flow through to the palate which is framed by soft and silken tannins. As is the Greenock Creek tradition, this wine will reward patience and cellaring, while being deliciously approachable as a young wine.

Penfolds Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro (also known as Mourvèdre) has a history going back to 1960 when Penfolds made a traditional "Burgundy" style. Penfolds have always loved Mataro (Mourvèdre) for its fantastic ability to blend marvelously with traditional South Australian stalwarts like Shiraz. Adding luscious complexity and palate grip, the Bin 2 is aged in older oak to emphasise the spicy savouriness of Mataro (Mourvèdre) that complements the plush richness of Shiraz.

Medium depth, crimson with a red rim. Rich, ripe plum and mulberry jam with a dollop of cream on a fresh scone. The juicy fruits and creamy vanilla mingle on the palate with an amazingly fine bead. Saucy and savoury, secondary characters from the older base wines add to the complexity with suede-like tannins and balanced sweetness rounding off the finish.

The wine has intense dark chocolate and plum aromas, while these components carry through to the palate added mocha; spice and pepper fill the mouth. Velvety tannins and lush rich fruit combine to deliver structure and balance offering enjoyment now and over the next 10 plus years from vintage.

A deep scarlet red that bursts with aromas of rose petals, plum, chocolate and cassis. With time, layers of vanilla cream, olive and sweet oak spice unfold. The palate is plush and generous, filled with dark cherry, plum and a touch of espresso, gliding into an elegant finish framed by fine tannins. Beautifully balanced and already drinking well, with the structure to evolve gracefully in the cellar.
