Marananga, centred in the North West quadrant of the Barossa provides some of the Valleys most powerful wines. Double Barrel Shiraz has a full and generous palate with a beguiling mix of sweet red fruits and dark chocolate indicative of its origins as Barossa Shiraz. Subtle toasty vanillin derives from aging in traditional French and American oak wine barrels. The careful use of aged Scotch whisky barrels for finishing has added complex nuances of almond-husks and also softened the dense tannins to yield an incredible smoothness.

Fresh blackberry and boysenberry, spice, liquorice, tar and dried herbs. Medium bodied, juicy bramble fruits, crisp boysenberry acidity, salted beef, firm but fine grained drying tannin, and a long fresh meaty herb infused finish.

Chris Ringland Shiraz has been one of Australia's most loved wines over the past few years with its immense concentration of bold, forboding fruit. Chris Ringland, the man behind such famous names as Three Rivers Shiraz, creates a wine that is made from mature Northern Barossa vines and shows dark mass of concentrated black and blue fruits, laced with sweet mocha and wrapped in a smooth, velvety texture.
