Mortlach 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Non-Vintage

Built on the site of an older illicit distillery Mortlach was the first legal distillery in Dufftown which is the epicentre on Speyside. Mortlach is again making its mark as a single malt with last years Diageo Special Release bottling selling out in record time. Distilled in 1999 and matured in ex Pedro Ximenez Sherry & Oloroso Sherry seasoned casks for no less than 21 years. Bottled at 56.9% abv and non-chill filtered. NOSE Rounded with dried dark fruits and rich sherry like notes, citrus peels, pancakes and salted butter, meaty with light savoury notes. The Glendronach Single #1769 28 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Established in 1826 by James Allardice the Glendronach distillery was one of the first licensed distilleries in Scotland. The GlenDronach is borne of the landscape and natural ingredients that surround, from the soft Highland water drawn from the underwater springs in the Balnoon hills to the Scottish malted barley sourced from our trusted partners. The hallmark of the distillery is the marriage of robust Highland spirit with the finest Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucia in Spain. This exquisite duality brings exceptional depth, complexity, and character to their whiskies. Each year Master Distiller, Billy Walker, specially selects a handful of individual cask from the warehouse at GlenDronach Distillery, to be bottled as the GlenDronach 'Limited Release'. With maturing whiskies dating back as far as 1968, there is a vast selection of barrels, hogsheds, puncheons and butts to choose from. Each of the casks display truly remarkable characteristic - the malt whisky contained within having developed exceptionally during the long maturation process. Individually numbered by hand, each vintage release is an exclusive one-off, with only a limited number of bottles available. These exceptional expressions are a fantastic representation of the style of whiskies maturing in the GlenDronach Distillery warehouses, and are smooth, well balanced and tremendously complex. Each dram is guaranteed to delight and inspire. This single cask was matured in Oloroso casks for 28 years. A deep walnut brown in colour, aromas of raisins, cinnamon and crème caramel. Kirin Fuji Single Blended Masterpiece Japanese Whisky

Kirin Fuji Single Blended Masterpiece Japanese Whisky 700ml is a beautiful single blended whisky from the Fuji Gotemba distillery. They are one of Japan's most popular producers or grain whiskies. The natural environment around Mt. Fuji is blessed with lush forests, crystal clear water, and pure air. FUJI whiskies are delicately fruity and mellow, and have been nurtured over time in this environment, with its unique climate and terroir. Mt. Fuji Distillery is nestled at the foot of Mt. Fuji, 620 meters (2,035 feet) above sea level and 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) from its peak. Since this is a misty area, Mt. Fuji can only be seen about 1/3 of the year, despite being at such a close distance. The high humidity maintained by a year-round blanket of fog, a cool highland climate with a yearly average temperature of 13℃ (55℉), and air purified by the forests at the foot of the majestic mountain has been combining to form its climate and terroir around the distillery. This natural environment, the cool highland climate with moderate temperature changes and high humidity, is ideal for making whisky. Because of this climate and terroir, the whisk(e)y produced at Mt. Fuji Distillery is mellow, and delicately fruity on the palate. Water plays a vital role in high-quality whisky production. With excellent and abundant water being essential, we call its water “mother water,” meaning it is a blessing from Mother Earth. This excellent water source is one of the main reasons why Mt. Fuji Distillery was built at its location. The “mother water” is drawn from the aquifer that runs 100 meters (328 feet) deep underground, where snow and rain that falls on Mt. Fuji is filtered and polished for 50+ years to reach the aquifer. Master Blender Jota Tanaka is formerly of Four Roses Distillery, in fact the Barrels used at Fuji Gotemba are purchased from the same cooperage and the ex-bourbon barrels used for ageing some of the distilleries whiskies are from Four Roses as well. This single blended whisky has been produced using four different stills and includes both malt and grain all grown and produced at the distillery. The blend and includes whiskies up to 30 years old with an average age of over 15 years, there is also a small amount of peated whisky in the blend. The nose is heady with caramel, dark cherry, poached pears, honey and chocolate. The palate leads with sherry, stewed stone fruits and crisp rye spiciness lingering on the finish.

The Dalmore 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Hand selected casks, from the world's finest bodegas and wineries are expertly curated to create a sumptuous and layered whisky of legendary finesse. The 2023 release of The Dalmore 21 Year Old was initially matured in American oak casks and finished in first-fill Matusalem oloroso sherry butts. The casks used to finish this exceptional dram were specially selected by Dalmore’s Richard Paterson. They rested for decades at González Byass in Jerez, where they were used to mature 30-year-old Matusalem Olorosso Sherry, before making the long journey to the Scottish Highlands. This is not the easiest way to source a whisky cask, but the extra effort makes perfect sense when the Dalmore 21 Year Old hits your glass. Seville oranges, bitter chocolate and Colombian coffee tantalise on the nose, while sweet liquorice, black forest fruits and roasted walnuts delight the palate, finishing with notes of peaches, ginseng and pear tarte tatin.

In 1898, John Duff built the Speyside Distillery, BenRiach. It is one of the few distilleries with its own on-site floor malting and draws its water from the Burnside Springs. Once distilled, the Benriach 35 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is filled into casks and allowed to mature on-site in the distilleries traditional, stone-walled, earthen-floored dunnage warehouse. This provides the perfect conditions for the whisky to age. The resulting whisky has aromas of luscious tropical fruit salad syrup with back notes of chocolate and mints. This blend is a mix of more than 50 years old eaux-de-vie with and without lees, sourced only from the most prestigious terroir of Grande Champagne. The perfect balance of finesse and elegance. It is “Brut de fût” at 50% volume. A very rare ecstasy. The color is a beautiful dark mahogany gloss with amber highlights. Réserve Aristide is a meditation cognac with a very broad aromatic structure. Take your time to fully enjoy it and to reveal itself completely. At the start of its ageing, the eaux-de-vie pass quickly through new barrels to preserve their natural aromatics. They will then be removed in an old barrel to continue their aging in a humid cellar, which promotes roundness and accentuates the notes of rancios. With its ABV of 50%, the reduction of eaux-de-vie is favored in a natural way. This high degree provides a more accomplished taste experience as well as a better perception of aromas. This cognac contains no additives, sugar, or caramel. Only light filtration is carried out to preserve its aromatic qualities as much as possible.
