This classic Yarra Valley Shiraz from Yeringberg is showing those trademark Shiraz characters of cracked black pepper and great fruit weight, there is also some good concentration and a long powdery tannin finish.

The Yarra Yering Pinot Noir is produced from what are amongst the oldest Pinot Noir vines in the Yarra Valley. Always aristocratic, fragrant with intense aromas of sweet strawberry and ripe plums, the Yarra Yering Pinot rounds out with mouthfilling notes of the same with a length hard to ignore.

The Triolet blend, first produced at this vineyard in 1987, was inspired by the white wines of Graves, Bordeaux. Each variety is picked at optimum ripeness, and is usually fermented separately. The characteristics of optimum ripeness are different for each variety. We pick the Sauvignon blanc after the strong herbaceous flavours have disappeared, the Semillon when the acid is not too harsh, and the Muscadelle when the flavour intensity peaks.

This wine is the flagship of Domaine A and is only produced in vintages of exceptionally high standard. The bouquet shows classic Cabernet varietal aromas and the palate is long and concentrated.

The wine is ruby red in colour. It displays notes of warm cherries and forest fruitsThe palate is rich, textural and integrated with notes of blackberry fruit. Owner Rob Walters combines 40% Pinot Noir from Macedon with 60% Syrah from Heathcote and Harcourt. The wine aged for a year in a mix of large and small neutral oak barrels, finishing in a steel tank and a 600-litre Stockinger cask. This process ensures a bright, perfumed, and juicy wine, that's fruit-focused rather than shrouded in oak. On the palate, Tradition Red is soft, smooth, and effortlessly drinkable. The Pinot Noir offers elegance, while the Syrah adds depth and spice. This blend results in a wine that is both sophisticated and approachable. Fragrant and finely structured the Yabby Lake Block 2 Pinot Noir shows enticing floral spice perfume and seductive silky texture. The fruit is handpicked, meticulously sorted and gently de-stemmed into small open fermenters. A small portion of whole bunches is included in the ferment. Maturation takes place in large French oak puncheons for 12 months.
