HISTORY Château de Laubade was built in 1870 in the heart of the noblest area of the AOC Bas Armagnac and is today the premier Armagnac property. Herradura Seleccion Suprema Extra Añejo Tequila is crafted using only the most mature blue agave harvested exclusively from the Casa Herradura estate. Produced by Casa Herradura, one of Mexicos most historic and renowned tequila producers, on the premises of a 19th century Hacienda in Amatitán, Jalisco. Aged for 49 months. So fine, so elegant so complex, so rich, this wonderful cognac is quite lively in spite of its very old ageing, creamy and appetizing, offering some notes of dried and jammy fruit, with the finest rancio aromas, leather, cigar box fragrances, toasted chocolate, liquorice and toffee.

A special 36-month aged luxury Extra Añejo Tequila that preserves Don Julio Gonzalezs Ultimate Legacy - the final agave harvest. In 2006, Don Julio, with his family, planted their final agave field. In honor of his devotion and craftsmanship, this agave harvest was carefully distilled, barreled, and set aside for a special use.To preserve this tequila and the exquisite agave piñas behind it, we have implemented a Solera aging system. The Solera aging method combines and matures tequilas of different characteristics finished in unique casks, allowing Don Julios final agave harvest to remain at the heart of this rare Extra Añejo Tequila.

The French component of this wine was made at two of the Dourthe-owned wineries. Australian components of this wine were made at Penfolds Nuriootpa Winery in South Australia. Both components were blended and bottled in South Australia for a truly one-of-a-kind release.
