Vignerons Ardéchois Gamay Modestine

In 1878, the Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson traveled the French Cévennes moutains with his donkey Modestine. This cuvée from the Vignerons Ardéchois is an homage to his travel depicted in his personal journal. The vinification is done according to the "Beaujolaise technique" in carbonic maceration, with a short vatting of 6 days and fermentation at 18 °. Its cherry red color and fruity nose exhales aromas of bananas and candies. On the mouth: a fruit crush of fresh red fruits, strawberries and redcurrants. A supple and fruity wine, without tannins, to share with your best friends over some nibbles and cheers.
