Produced right in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region, ‘Ginache’ contains Never Nevers's award-winning Triple Juniper Gin and Grenache juice from grapes picked from the McLaren Vale region. ​A contemporary take on traditional sloe gin at 38% ABV, the spice and bright citrus flavours of this gin work wonderfully with the jammy raspberry brightness of the young Grenache character.​

The natural sweetness of these casks complements the savoury charisma of the spirit, revealing fresh herbs, shortbread biscuits, raisins, toffee and dark chocolate on the nose. The Never Never team uses Kangaroo Island oyster shell, waxflower, Tasmania wakame, coastal daisy bush, saltbush and round mint to create a unique expression of the Australian coastline and built for contemporary seafood pairings. Fresh sea spray jumps from the glass, bursting with split lime-leaf and fragrant grapefruit zest. The palate expresses saline and savoury minerality of Kangaroo Island Oyster shell and dried Australian wakame. Native greens integrate with morish salted citrus, pine and coriander spice on the mid-palate. The finish is long and luxurious, lending itself to dry martinis.
