The Bizarre Love Triangle is a blend based on the Gentil aromatic blends of Alsace in France, where it is allowed to blend only Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. These are aromatic, spicy textural wines, slippery and slatey, great chilled for warm weather and approachable as young wines. Snake + Herring Bizarre Love Traingle Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer Riesling - The Bizarre Love Triangle is again Pinot Gris dominant but with more Gewurztraminer than we normally use. The Pinot Gris adds the slatey mineral backbone whilst the exuberant Gewurztraminer adds ginger spice and floral notes. The palate is generous and full with Riesling adding a touch of classy citrus acidity. Perfect on the deck in Summer.

This stunning Riesling from the West is all limes and citrus with great length and depth of flavour. The only problem with this wine is there is never enough to go around.

Beautiful citrus and ripe pear aromas mixed with honeydew melon undertone and yeast characters on the nose. This wine finished with a mouth watering acidity that would get you hooked for more.

Attractive aromas of citrus and tropical fruits with hints of nougat and talc. The medium weight textural palate displays vibrant flavours of citrus fruits, dried pears and some riper tropical notes. The restrained use of French oak and wild yeast fermentation adds subtle complexity and texture to the palate which finishes with a clean mineral edge.

Blend of two-thirds Sauvignon Blanc and one-third Semillon gets a touch of barrel aging, reflected in its silky texture more than any overt aromas or flavours. This new release of our Amber wine is a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc selected from our certified Biodynamic vineyard. The wine was left on the skins and fermented partially before being pressed off. The skin maceration went from 9 days to 44 days depending on the parcel. The fruit was processed in different vessels: open fermenters, closed tanks as well as amphorae. This explains some of the complexity and the many layers of this wine. We look at it being a natural step in creative as well as artisanal winemaking. On the advice of eminent agronomist Dr. John Gladstones, Dr. Kevin and Diana Cullen planted a trial acre of vines at Wilyabrup, Margaret River in 1966. Commencing in 1971, 18 acres of vines were planted on their sheep and cattle farm, including their first Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc were planted between 1976 and 1978.
