Aromas of lemon curd, lime, grass and lanolin flow off the nose of this elegant Verdelho. The linear palate contains lime and lemon flavours supported by grippy acidity, finishing in a dry climax.

A wine style that is rich and complex by nature and specifically crafted to capture the quintessential fruit and oak qualities of the wine. Yellow straw in color, this Cuvée is supple and light displaying notes of tropical fruits, rock melon, mango and pineapple as well as a crisp citrus character with a hint of oak. Fruit picked in the cool of night, then quickly pressed to stainless steel. It remains on lees to gain some texture, but then bottled quickly, to retain the citrus, floral notes and the brisk acidity.

The Army Block Semillon is an isolated parcel from the highly regarded Black Cluster Vineyard in Pokolbin in The Hunter Valley. The grapes were handpicked from low yielding vines to minimise skin contact and preserve the fresh, delicate flavours of the variety and ensure excellent concentration of fruit flavour.​ ​
