A perfumed and silky style, Yabby Lake Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is sourced from a vineyard that is consistently the first to be harvested on the Mornington Peninsula. The fruit is hand-picked and gently de-stemmed into small open fermenters with a small percentage of whole bunches included in the ferment. Maturation takes place in tight-grained French oak puncheons for 12 months.

In the glass: Vibrant mid-red. On the nose: Sweet cherry and raspberry fruit with notes of stalk and spice - so beautifully perfumed. On the palate: Vibrant and fresh, supple and juicy with ripe cherry and plum varietals, subtle stalky complexity, warm earthy notes, nicely integrted vanillin oak and savoury persistence. A complete wine - powerful yet refined, complex and layered with full Pinot Noir charm on show.

The wine is brilliant deep crimson red in colour with a tinge of brick brown. Cherry, spice and strawberry like varietal fruit aromas with sweet vanillin oak characters derived from barrel fermentation in French oak and storage of 12 months in oak. A full flavoured medium bodied wine, with great length and solid structure, offering soft cherry and plum like ripe Pinot Noir flavours, complemented by fine grained tannins and attractive lingering French oak characters finishing with a crisp acidity.

Colour: Garnet with vibrant dark purple and brick brown hues.Nose: Delicate hints of dark berrys and dark cocoa with undertones of clove and oriental spice resulting in hints of smoky, almond and earthy characters from oak maturation.Palate: Soft mouth entry and acidity herald rich, fruity mid-palate fruit, flavours of currant, and fine tannin.
