Dal Zotto Sangiovese is mid garnet with a purple hue; the savoury bouquet is immediately reminiscent of Tuscany with briary red fruits, sour cherry in particular, sage and thyme and a little earthy complexity adding interest; the palate is medium-bodied and fleshy on entry, with the crunchy tannin and acid of the variety providing an engaging and savoury platform to conclude; will handle a huge array of flavours, from light to full blooded.

A beautifully styled and expressed Chianti, with a complex bouquet showing cherry, baking spice and almond meal, rounded out with gamy nuances. Perfectly balanced on the palate, it has fine tannins and a long, dry finish. Perfect with pastas, grilled chicken and mild cheeses.

Pizzini Arneis is grown and made in the foothills of the King Valley. This delicate grape ripens slowly in the protective Autumn mists and shows a bouquet of quince and almond and the palate displays wonderfully elegant fruit flavours.

Coriole has been the pioneer of this variety in Australia - and for good reason! Spicy dark cherry and plum flavours, the palate is perfectly balanced with dusty drying tannins.

Fred Pizzini grew up in Italy and is bringing the taste of his homeland to the Australian dining table. His Sangiovese is one of the best examples in the country, with spicy, savoury fruit hiding a vein of mouth watering acid that is a hallmark of the variety. Nugan Durif exhibits aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cherry with hints of aniseed and all-spice. A full-bodied wine displaying soft chewy tannins and a youthful fine acid balance with a generous palate of dark cherry and plum pudding with dusty chocolate, earth and spice. Durif is otherwise known as Petit Syrah.

When a young Alfredo emigrated from Spain in 1940, he had a clear vision of his family’s new life in Australia. Ripe aromas of cherry with hints of mocha, dark chocolate and earth followed by a savoury palate of spicy plum and raspberry with well-integrated tannins.

Another outstanding Pinot Grigio from Pizzini. Aromas of ripe pear lead the way in the bouquet and the palate is fresh with crisp, zippy acidity very true to the grigio style. Enjoy it with seafood.
