Dal Zotto Sangiovese is mid garnet with a purple hue; the savoury bouquet is immediately reminiscent of Tuscany with briary red fruits, sour cherry in particular, sage and thyme and a little earthy complexity adding interest; the palate is medium-bodied and fleshy on entry, with the crunchy tannin and acid of the variety providing an engaging and savoury platform to conclude; will handle a huge array of flavours, from light to full blooded.

Soft red colour. Aromas of fresh strawberries, red fruits and dark cherries. The palate is fresh and lively displaying hints of red fruit and spices, finishing with soft tannins. Initial aromas for this Prosecco by Pizzini include yeasty and melon notes, as the wine opens up in the glass the nose smacks of citrus blossom, fresh lime, Wisteria flower and green apples. It is refreshingly fizzy with gentle, lemony acidity.

Named after Alfred Pizzini's grandmother, this is a medium bodied Sangiovese - warm and humble just like its namesake. Aromas of lightly spiced plums and cherries lead to hints of chocolate, leather and lovely savoury characters. The palate is generous and full flavoured with good length, soft tannins and flavours of plums and cherries.

Mark Lloyd of Coriole planted Sangiovese in his McLaren Vale vineyards in the mid 1980s and in 1999 he famously won the inaugural Australian Sangiovese Awards – a precursor to the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show, where this delicious 2016 Sangiovese won Gold! It has beautiful bright spiced cherry and plum fruit, with a savoury touch of herbs and spice. It's a terrific food wine - try it with your best Italian pasta dish.

In the glass: Dark red. On the nose: Chery berry fruit, herb and cumin spice. On the palate: Ripe, juicy and generous with sweet, fleshy dark cherry and red plum fruit, some confectionery notes, sweet earth, cola, liquorice and milk chocolate - deliciously savoury.

Bright crimson. Bright red fruit and cherry ripe. Plumy ripe fruit and maraschino cherry teamed with lovely fine tannins.

Another outstanding Pinot Grigio from Pizzini. Aromas of ripe pear lead the way in the bouquet and the palate is fresh with crisp, zippy acidity very true to the grigio style. Enjoy it with seafood.

Pizzini are one of the country's leaders in Prosecco. Il Soffio (the breath) is named for the gentle breeze that blows through the King Valley in the evening.Very pale straw. Fragrant lift of jasmine, green apple and white peach. Fine-boned and elegant with a bright mix of white fruit, grapefruit and a nutty layer, soft creamy texture and tightly wound acidity.

Lovely aromas of honeydew melon with slight hints of cucumber. Subtle herbaceous edge in addition to the full fruit flavours, leaving it perfectly balanced with respect to sweetness and acidity. This particular wine adds sparkle to any occasion.
