Blend 3 is our traditional blend, which combines the 3 Nebbiolo clones we have growing at Pipan Steel Wines. It takes the structure of Clone 7 and layers the perfume of Clone 9 with the savouriness of Clone 10, producing a complex satisfying Nebbiolo. Drink it with dishes as delicate as a broth through to rich slow cooked pork.Blend 3 was voted first consensus pick in the Young Gun of Wine Spotlight on Nebbiolo blind tasting in July 2019.

Carpineto Rosso di Montalcino
Produced in the historic area of Montalcino (Siena) at an elevation of about 450 m above sea level. Soil: clay loam, Grapes: 100% Sangiovese. Ageing: short ageing period in barrels of medium to small dimensions. Color: Ruby red, with warm garnet reflections. Bouquet: clean and flowery with distinctive notes of violets. Flavor: full, velvety and with good structure. Serving Temperature: 18-20°C. Gastronomy: grilled meats, red meats and game.
Nugan Estate Durif
Nugan Durif exhibits aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cherry with hints of aniseed and all-spice. A full-bodied wine displaying soft chewy tannins and a youthful fine acid balance with a generous palate of dark cherry and plum pudding with dusty chocolate, earth and spice. Durif is otherwise known as Petit Syrah.

Ripe aromas of cherry with hints of mocha, dark chocolate and earth followed by a savoury palate of spicy plum and raspberry with well-integrated tannins.
