The wine is packed with concentrated peachy fruit, supported by creamy oak nuances. The mid-palate is expansive, with ripe stone fruits enlivened by a touch of grapefruit. De Iuliis Hunter Valley Chardonnay
Subtle aromas of vanillin oak and melon, with a hint of green pear. Oak and fruit are well balanced. A rich fruit palate combines with a creamy texture from the French Oak treatment. The aftertaste is clean, with lingering peach flavours. Drinks well now, but will continue to improve with 3-4 years further cellaring.
Audrey Wilkinson Winemaker's Selection Semillon
Gorgeous varietal character with gentle white peach, sweet lemon and pear flavours. Hand-picked, whole-bunch-pressed fruit was fermented cool and blended early to preserve freshness. It is made from estate-grown fruit from the Audrey Wilkinson property. Alcohol: 11%. Closure: screw cap. Date tasted: August 2024. Drink: 2024-2026. Rating: 95/100.
