The grapesfor this wine were picked from our 40 year old vines grown in the volcanic soilof the ancient Fordwich Sill. These low yielding mature vines produce ripe, concentrated fruitwhich results in a wine with excellent regional and varietal characters.

Stonier is a master of regularly providing excellent cool-climate Mornington Chardonnay at a very reasonable price, the last coule of vintages proving to be exceptional! Fresh and delicate with sherbet and citrus flavours, short term cellaring will be repaid.

Drink the Brokenwood Semillon young for its zesty lime and lemon flavours or age it for 4-6 years to experience the succulent honeyed flavours of aged Semillon.

From the ever impressive Yering Station, this Chardonnay offers toasty barrel ferment characters, good supporting oak and ripe peach aromas leading to a textured and well rounded palate. One of the better value examples out there.

Complex mineral and flint aromas with a palate that has good length. Tyrrell's Stevens Semillon has wonderful balance between the fresh citrus flavours of youth and the aged 'toasty' characters. It is great with seafood dishes.

In the glass: Vibrant deep purple. On the nose: Blackberry, black cherry, plum, pepper and earth.On the palate: An elegant Gold medal winner with a velvety mouthfeel, intense and juicy layers of black fruits and peppery spice with seasoned oak and fine tannins.

An elegant wine displaying stone and orchard fruit flavours melded to a core of cashew and fig, all balanced by a seam of fresh acidity. 50% of the wine was fermented and matured in a combination of new and 1 year old French Hogsheads with partial malolactic fermentation, giving texture and complexity, the rest in stainless steel, to retain freshness.

The Army Block Semillon is an isolated parcel from the highly regarded Black Cluster Vineyard in Pokolbin in The Hunter Valley. The grapes were handpicked from low yielding vines to minimise skin contact and preserve the fresh, delicate flavours of the variety and ensure excellent concentration of fruit flavour.​ ​

Enjoy a very pleasing Hunter Valley Chardonnay with scores of 93pts and 92pts. For Sam Kim, Wine Orbit its "inviting" aromas are followed by a "… succulent palate delivers excellent weight and silky texture, wonderfully framed by well-integrated acidity, finishing flavoursome and delectable. 93pts.” Toni Paterson writing in The Halliday Wine Companion calls it “A ripe style of Chardonnay with excellent energy and freshness. Juicy white nectarines and sweet lemon, with a touch of warming spice on the close. Simple yet satisfying. 92pts”. John Lemann, in The Australian notices: "… a prim nose of lime, pink lady apple, lemon peel and lemon cheesecake, then a palate of lemon sherbet, peach, orange pith and woody spice, means every element getting the chance to shine."
