Calvet Cabernet Sauvignon
The fruit for this cabernet sauvignon from the famed house of Calvet is sourced in Languedoc in the south of France. The yield is limited and the wine is made in the traditional manner, allowing full expression of the fruit. The wine carries good intensity of dark colour, and flavours of black currant, red berries, licorice and spice linger through to the end.
Le Pin
One of the most expensive Bordeaux wines - and indeed, one of the priciest anywhere - Le Pin is a surprisingly recent arrival on the global stage, with its first vintage having been produced just decades ago in 1979. Originally priced at a modest 700 francs, the praise garnered by the 1982 vintage propelled Le Pin into the global limelight, with sales from that point on par with - or exceeding - those of First Growth Bordeaux wines. An exotic style of Bordeaux, Le Pin possesses a resplendent, lavish mouth-feel with intensely ripe fruit aromas and hints of smoke on the palate.

Château d'Anglès La Clape Classique Rouge
From a rocky outcrop overlooking the Mediterranean, and first planted to grapes almost 2000 years ago by Roman Legionnaires. The vineyards of this extraordinary estate are watched over by the expert eye of Eric Fabre, former Technical Director at Chateau Lafite. It is now the responsibility of the youngest son, Vianney Fabre, to craft the wines. The composition for their Classique Red can be described, thus, "Syrah for fruit and spices delicately vinified and blended with Grenache for roundness, a dash of Mourvèdre giving structure, and the refreshing minty touch from the terroir of La Clape appellation. A tasty, smooth and balanced wine to enjoy without complexes!"
