A medium tawny in appearance, the wine has a full warming palate with rich flavours of toffee, cherry vanilla and caramel. The wine although being sweet, still fin is hes fresh and lively. The wine is then clarified, stabilised and a portion of the wine goes to barrel to mature in ambient temperature. Delicious drinking now but will also cellar for up to 3 years.

During the 1920's, Clydesdale horses were used to distribute water from the main canal to the surrounding landscape of the Riverina. Stables were placed on the corner of Apostles and Moon Roads and at night the Apostles birds would roost in the stables, sharing the horses' food and bed for the evening. Today the Apostles Wines Estate is nestled here and the canal is still the region's lifeline. Our wonderful Durif grapes thrive here, surrounded by native Saltbush.
