This beautiful wine displays an attractive ruby red colour in a glass. The well balanced bouquet emits medium intensity fragrances of blackberry, dried herbs and earth. It offers coffee, toasted oak and vanilla characters towards the end. The nose smoothly makes way for a lush palate, filled with flavours of juicy forest fruits and soft vanilla, leading to savoury notes. Together with palate coating tannins, these characters culminate in a cocoa and coffee dominated finish.

Risky Business Shiraz Tempranillo Grenache is a blend of 2% Malbec and 13% Grenache grapes with 17% Tempranillo and 68% Shiraz grapes. The resulting wine displays dark crimson red hues, with rich aromas of sweet ripe plums and smoky steeped fruits flowing off its luxurious bouquet. These vibrant fragrances effortlessly shift to the palate to provide juicy flavours of spicy plum fruits and smoky characters. It has a lovely bouquet of dark berries and mocha with a soft fruit-driven palate of red currants and plums. The palate is soft, juicy and lingering. A number of parcels are sourced for this blend, once the grapes have reached optimal ripeness the fruit is harvested during the cool of night for delivery to the winery. The fruit is destemmed and sent to static fermenters for a long cool fermentation. Once pressed off skins the wine is pressed off to oak barrels for 9 months maturation of 9.
