Capital Wines The Treasury Late Picked Viognier
In the cool autumn weather, the Viognier grapes hang on the vine, like golden treasure. Picked late, when all signs of the frenetic buzz of vintage have faded, the golden fruit is brought into the winery. Great care and calculation are needed to turn these previous berries into a beautiful and alluring wine with delicate sweet complexity. Our 2022 Late Picked Viognier has the perfect balance between elegant sweet floral concentration and fresh citrus acidity.
Lerida Estate Riesling
Barwang Shiraz
Barwang, value-for-money and consistency all go hand-in-hand. It's the hallmark of a winery that is producing some fantastic wines at great prices at the moment. Their Shiraz shows ripe blackberry fruit flavours that are supported by some savoury and spicy undertones. This is wine that continually over delivers for its price, the same can also be said of the entire Barwang range.
Heggies Riesling
The Heggies vineyard situated in the hills above the Barossa Valley produces tightly structured classic Rieslings which can be appreciated young or cellared to achieve richer, complex flavours.
Hungerford Hill Cabernet Sauvignon
Hungerford Hill Hilltops Cabernet is an extremely impressive modern style Cabernet that displays all the classic Cabernet characters of blueberry and blackcurrant along with a wonderful lifted palate texture that leaves you with sense of wanting more. The length of flavour is something to behold.
Grove Estate Hilltops Cabernet Sauvignon
One could be mistaken for thinking Grove Estate was in the heart of Coonawarra with it's vivid red soil. It's in fact nestled in the emerging region of Hilltops in NSW and with the guidance of Canberra guru, Tim Kirk, this great Cabernet shows flavours and aromas of liquorice, blackberry and rich cassis.
Grove Estate The Partners Cabernet Sauvignon
In the glass: Full deep red. On the nose: Delicate redcurrant, plum, cedar and a light leafy lift. On the palate: Textured with a medium weight core of dark fruit, elegant line and touches of coffee, cherry and savoury oak.
Mollys Cradle Shiraz
This Shiraz is a vibrant red in colour, on the nose are tones of black cherry and fresh spices with a hint of mocha. The palate is full-bodied and a traditional Mudgee style. Blackberry fruit evident on the nose carry through to the palate, interlayered with velvety tannins and a delicate spicy oak finish.
The Little Wine Co Petit Verdot
The beauty of this wine is in the perfumed lift of spice and violets overlaying the subtle tobacco characters on the palate. Oak maturation has imparted a little extra complexity and structure making the palate supple with fine lingering tannins.
