Made from a blend of Frankland WA grown Shiraz and handpicked bushvine Tempranillo. Each wine was allowed to ferment naturally on skins using only the wild yeast then they were basket pressed and blended. The Shiraz provides body and complexity to the tannin component of the lighter Tempranillo. The result is a fruit driven, unoaked red with berry and spice elements, great texture, and a bright acidity.

This Organic Shiraz provides rich dark berry flavours with gentle oak and a long finish.

Last year, winemaker Paul Hotker, a “master blender” , was named Halliday’s Winemaker of the Year. Rich dark purple with a crimson hue in colour. Intense dark fruit aromas of plum, and forest berries with hints of spice and vanilla. Rich and smooth with lashes of dense sweet fruit and soft tannins.

With age, this wine has developed beautifully, offering a softer, more integrated expression of its original richness. The lifted aromas of fruit cake and ripe plums have deepened, now joined by hints of dried fig and mocha. The black pepper spice remains, though more mellow, seamlessly woven with warm oak notes of cinnamon and sweet vanillin. Time has added elegance and length to the palate, making this a smooth, rounded and comforting drop with impressive balance.

Tempus Two Merlot is deliciously ripe, lovely flavours of mulberry fruit with some earthiness and spice. Soft tannins complement the finish.
