Kaesler’s Barbera takes inspiration from its home town appellation, Tanunda, in the Barossa Valley, and its un-canny similarities with Barbera d’Alba – the famous appellation for Barbera in the Piedmont. This bright, sophisticated, cool-climate Shiraz has a wonderful generosity of red fruit, pepper and spice, that are subtly complexed and supported by the vanillin hints and fine tannins of the best French oak. Meticulous and painstakingly management of our twenty-year old vines ensures the wine is equally enjoyable as a fresh young wine or after five to ten years in the cellar.
