The result is a well rounded approachable single malt that has the oak features of vanilla, dark chocolate and spice with the overlay of Muscat sweetness. Tasting notes Nose: Begins with a mix of plum and stewed rhubarb and then develops into sweeter notes of honeycomb and caramelised sugar. Lingering tones of subtle leather and sherbet. Palate: A big, bold hit of Muscat raisins and black cherry. Followed by dark chocolate and oak which leaves a pleasant dryness. There is also a lingering Vanilla sweetness undertone throughout.
