The grapesfor this wine were picked from our 40 year old vines grown in the volcanic soilof the ancient Fordwich Sill. These low yielding mature vines produce ripe, concentrated fruitwhich results in a wine with excellent regional and varietal characters.

The Hunter Valley is renowned for producing some of the best Semillon in the world. This wine displays fresh, lifted citrus characters, a light palate, and crisp, zesty acids. It's the perfect match for seafood or any delicately flavoured dishes.

Unique and full of individuality, like its namesake and winemaker Ash Horner, this Viognier is bright, fresh and textured. Aromas of pear, apricots and wildflowers with a subtle lemon meringue flavour.

McKelvey Estate continue to produce wines punching above their weight and with Keith Tulloch as winemaker, its easy to see why. In the glass: Delicate pale straw with green highlights. On the nose: Energetic and zesty white and yellow melon with cashew and fine oak spice. On the palate: Finely structured with elegant white fig and white peach, dry, minerally acidity and long, fresh acidity.

Although the Hunter is better-known for its unique blend of Semillon Chardonnay, we do also see the occasional Semillon Verdelho, and this one is a cracker!Vibrant pale straw in appearance. Pretty aromas of white peach, lemon, apple and melon. Clean and crisp with Granny Smith and stonefruit notes in a lovely easy-drinking style with soft acidity and a juicy finish.

The Stockhausen Chardonnay was created by Briar Ridge in a style paying homage to the pioneers of the Hunter Valley around 40 years ago. It is rich and creamy with ripe peach and tropical notes.

Classic lemon and lime zestiness balanced by fleshier citrus fruit on the palate. Elegant, fresh finish.

Tulloch Verdelho is an exciting aromatic white that was harvested at night to retain the fresh natural acidity found in the quality fruit. The wine itself has honeydew melon notes with a real citrus blossom lift. The long, engaging palate has a real zest to it with a fine acid backbone treating the drinker with a long, crisp finish.
