COMMUNE OF BUTTONS ABC Chardonnay, Basket Range, Adelaide Hills Commune of Buttons began with a single dream between brother and sister, to continue as second-generation growers of grapes. The ABC is an exciting Chardonnay from the Buttons family vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. Whole bunches are pressed in stainless steel tanks and then allowed to go through a wild ferment in the barrel before bottling. This has the distinctive hallmarks of natural wine whilst maintaining a textural, bright and clean freshness.

The restrained use of oak balances the quintessential Adelaide Hills fruit character.Quintessential Adelaide Hills with white nectarine, lemon curd and hazelnut aromas, and underlying mineral characters in the background. Palate shows restraint with a nougat and creamy elegance. Subtle flavours along with the typical regional acid line bring freshness and length.

Sophisticated and sumptuous, this light straw coloured wine is a Chardonnay connoisseur's dream come true. On the bouquet, it's a pure expression of fruit quality and vineyard, with characteristics of white peach, ripe nectarine and underlying minerality. Wild yeast, barrel fermented vinification offers a rich mouthfeel to this wine's elegant palate, which features ripe stone fruit flavours, citrus notes and a pristine acid line. The finish is crisp, clean and slightly creamy, heightened by perfectly integrated French oak. Enjoy it on its own or with chargrilled lamb cutlets served alongside tomato and oregano salad.

Paracombe Pinot Gris shows lifted aromas, good flavour definition and balance. An attractive bouquet of pear and rose petal is joined by flavours of fresh nectarine, melon, honeyed pear, and flinty notes. Enjoy with antipasto.
