2018 Blue Rock Wines, Eden Valley Pinot Grigio Pinot Grigio is a wine style that comes from Italy. The Pinot Gris grapes are picked at a slightly earlier stage of development thus having higher acidity and lower sugar levels. The resultant wine is lower in alcohol and has a crisp acid finish. 2019 Reserve Pinot GrisOur Family Series Reserve Pinot Gris has delicate floral aromas of musk and ripe pears. The palate is soft and full, with hints of spice and musk, balanced with ripe pears and fresh acidity.

The grapes were hand picked and whole bunch pressed releasing the delicate flavours. The wine is bursting with tropical fruit, passionfruit, pineapple and fresh citrus and melon aromas and flavours. The palate is complex yet delicate with good weight and length. The wine has residual sweetness and a refreshing crisp acid finish which is well suited to most seafood and chicken dishes.

The 2020 Springton Riesling was carefully blended from 3 different blocks within the Avon Brae vineyard. (56% Block 11, 26% Block 10, 19% Block 8) It is bright pale straw and shows tropical fruits and rose petal on the nose. The palate is broad and full with lime over a long line of lemon. An enticing Eden Valley Riesling drinking well now but built to last.

The vineyards high altitude location and unique geology has resulted in distinct characteristics that develop further with ageing in this splendid Riesling. Aromas of rose petal and gentle spice matched with striking citrus and ripe grape flavours will delight you when you take a sniff and a sip of this wine.
