Widely regarded as New Zealands most original gin, Reid+Reid Gin is distilled in a small batch, craft distillery located in the heart of Martinborough New Zealand. Its mission is to produce a world class, unique, New Zealand gin, distilled with native botanicals. A classic dry gin with a New Zealand accent. Florescence Gin is a collaboration between Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and Anther Spirits. This boutique gin contains plants foraged from Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. Proceeds from the sale support Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria’s important landscapes, research and innovative public programs. FLORESCENCE GIN is hand made at Anther Distillery. Florescence according to the Oxford Dictionary means “the process of flowering” or “the process of developing richly and fully”. All Florescence ingredients are currently growing at both Gardens sites, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne, which are home to thousands of plant species: there are 8,500 at Melbourne and 1,700 native Australian plant varieties in the Australian Garden at Cranbourne. This includes traditional ingredients such as Juniper, Coriander Seeds, Orange and Lemon peel, but also includes unique selections of native Australian plants such as Tasmannia xerophila (Alpine pepper), Kunzea parvifolia (Violet Kunzea), Baeckea gunniana (Alpine Baeckea) and more. One ingredient, Tasmannia xerophila is a common shrub of the alpine zone and an ancient native woody plant in Victoria. The leaves and berries are aromatic but have a little heat that takes a little while to hit the palate. Another, Kunzea parvifolia is fairly widespread in Victoria. In spring its mauve bottlebrush-like flowers can light up its environment with a purple haze. Tim Entwisle, Director and Chief Executive, Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria says, “I have personally taste-tested and approved of this gin. It has a fantastic aroma and a unique and charismatic flavour. We hope that you enjoy it!”

Ink Dry Gin was created in the Northern Rivers of NSW after a global voyage of botanical discovery. This natural floral infusion of butterfly pea flower petals gives Ink Dry Gin a remarkable and lustrous inky blue hue. Visually beautiful with changes of colour from deep blue to blush pink when mixed with tonic water or a splash of lemon juice. Distilled with a blend of traditional and exotic ingredients, the flavour of juniper , native lemon myrtle, Tasmanian pepper berries and sweet orange make for a aromatic and full flavoured experience.

From vines yielding less than 1 tonne/acre, 100% whole bunch, natural yeast ferment, 100% new oak. A powerful and structural Pinot Noir by Lethbridge. An unusual presentation of the MV6 clone in the Estate vineyard produces fruit of great density of flavour, and very low yield (0.5 tonnes/acre). This wine was fermented with 100% whole bunch inclusion and had pre-fermentation maceration for 7-10 days. Wild yeast fermentation in small open vats proceeded with daily pigéage. Pressing was straight to barrel (100% new French oak) to allow for gross lees contact and natural MLF.

Four Pillars Navy Strength is a gin very much in the style of the Rare Dry Gin but with the volume turned up slightly beyond 11. At 58.8% ABV the gin can support some more robust and interesting botanicals, so there are three new botanicals that are both new (and fresh), including fresh turmeric and ginger. Together they have heightened the spiciness of the gin, and the turmeric in particular has added weight and a lovely earthiness to the palate. Also in the botanical basket about half the normal oranges have been replaced with some explosive native finger limes, grown in Byron Bay. They have an intensity of flavour and acid that is almost impossible to believe, and in the basket they help the gin attain super citrus notes and lovely high-toned freshness.
