Gomersal Riesling

Logan Weemala Riesling
The fruit for this Riesling was grown on a vineyard in the Orange region, which is situated 1000m above sea level. In the glass: Pale lemon straw.On the nose: Pure lime lift with a touch of honeysuckle. On the palate: Intense and pure with a zesty core of lemon and lime, a quinine-like mouth-feel and long crisp acidity on to the almost chalky finish. Retrained yet powerful.
Tikves Alexandria Classic White
Riesling semi-dry white wine with appellation of origin from the Tikve wine region. This wine has a greenish-yellow colour, a distinctive scent of honey and freshness from citrus fruit aromas and complex floral flavour with characteristic sweet aftertaste.
Knappstein Clare Valley Riesling
Aromas of freshly cut green apple blend with fennel and vanilla on a complex but restrained nose. The palate bursts with flavours of lime juice and white blossoms. The acid is firm but harmonious and drives the palate long through the finish. The wine finishes with a lovely dryness and feeling of refreshment.
Annie's Lane Clare Valley Riesling
More savoury on the nose than many, Annie's Lane has aromas of apple, lime, bath salts and minerals that add up to beautifully pure varietal intensity. The palate has a good level of richness and plenty of depth, yet it retains balance, vibrancy and zest. A serious regional riesling that deserves some bottle age.
Coola Road Riesling
Coola Road 2015 Riesling has a crisp acidity and a lively palate, which is representative of the region. This 2015 vintage has a perfumed nose of green apple and pear. The fruity perfumed nose leads into a well-balanced wine with a refreshing and lasting palate of citrus and lime. A lengthened minerally acidity is also present. An immediate reward or one that would cellar well for several years.
Logan Love & Valour Clare Valley Riesling
Logan is a family-owned and -operated business with an emphasis on cool-climate wines from Orange and Mudgee. Peter Logan's 'Love & Valour' is a hugely popular range that occasionally drifts beyond his home in Orange. This 2022 Riesling is from the picturesque Clare Valley. Peter is an excellent winemaker and this makes delicious drinking.
Knappstein Riesling
Fresh lemon and lime fruit flavours delight in this gorgeous Clare Valley wine. Knappstein continue their philosophy to produce the best of Clare Valley handcrafted wines. Clare Valley where a gorgeous white blossom fragrance is typical for many rieslings, this has all your classic lime and citrus notes with trademark varietal acidity but no severity. Crisp and pure now, Knappstein reflects this to perfection.
Devils Corner Riesling
An absolute standout and not just for its affordability! This riesling features gorgeously punchy, vibrant citrus character and trademark Tasmanian acidity giving it great backbone. Immensely drinkable, with lemons and lime character perfectly complemented by palate weight. A superb cool climate Tasmanian riesling. The untamed east coast of Tasmania is home to Devils Corner and attempting to tame this wild environment is chief winemaker Tom Wallace. Tom previously honed his skills completing vintages in California, Bordeaux and the Hunter Valley. He now does so at the Kayena Winery in the Tamar Valley where he oversees winemaking for Tamar Ridge, Pirie and Devils Corner. Given how well reviewed this riesling was, we can safely say hes doing an excellent job producing absolutely stunning cool climate wines. Fortunately for us and thanks to Toms efforts, you wont have to brave the wild to sample this award winner.
Vickery Watervale Riesling
This wine from Vickery displays hallmark Watervale aromas showing pure Riesling characteristics of fresh lemon-lime citrus, floral honeysuckle and a creamy richness. The flavours are fresh lemon citrus, with soft mineral acidity supported by the persistent and mouth-watering finish. An absolute delight to drink in its first flush of youth, but will intrigue and reward with additional complexity upon cellaring for 5-20 years.
