Babich Pinot Noir Rose

This single vineyard Babich Pinot Noir Rose was produced from a blend of Pinot Noir clones grown in Marlboroughs Rapaura district. It flaunts a pale pink colour. This aromatic wine exhibits raspberry, strawberry and creamy fragrances on the bouquet, with citrus hints and sweet pastry notes flowing in the backdrop. The sweet and soft palate is a mouthful of red berry, melon and nectarine flavours, with generous nuances of panna-cotta and spice. The finish is dry and refreshing. Cape Bernier Pinot Rose

This Rose shows a medium orange pink hue. Flavours and aromas of smoky strawberry, as well as spice, are abundant. The balance of sweetness and tartness is great. The finish is long, dry and clean. It is a great match with pork, cheese and seafood.

Colmar Estate has been in the forefront of the rosé revolution which has seen the quality of Australian rosés increased significantly in recent years. The secret, of course, is a top quality fruit which in this case is hand-picked Pinot Noir from our Block 3. In 2016, we picked the fruit a little riper, producing a slightly fuller, rounder style of rosé that drinks beautifully on release. All the usual strawberry aromas and flavors are there in abundance and the wine finishes clean and dry.

Saint & Scholar Pinot Noir Rose

This Pinot Noir Rosé flaunts a very light rosy colour when poured in a glass. A swirl on the glass emanates aromas of strawberries and raspberries that make way for a fresh palate. Matakana Estate Pinot Noir Rose

The premium fruit parcels used to produce this spectacular Pinot Noir Rose were picked and then allowed little contact with skins. The juice obtained so was cold settled and cold fermented in tank. This resulted in the creation of a pale pink coloured wine with a salmon haze. The perfumed nose presents lifted scents of strawberries and cream, coupled with light hints of rose petals, earthy and savoury notes. The textured palate is bursting with berry and strawberry fruit flavours, supported by excellent acid balance. These great characters eventually pave the way for a dry, savoury and refreshing finale.
