Plum, blackberries and chocolate aromas complement a palate filled with red berry fruit, warm spice and sweet vanilla flavours influenced by high quality French oak. Fine tannins give structure completing a mouth-filling textural wine that drinks brilliantly as a young wine but will continue to develop with careful cellaring for the next 10 years.

A tried and true expression of ripe and generously flavoured shiraz that lets the fruit do the talking rather than excessive oak or alcohol. This blend is unbaked which highlights the natural fruity character of the wine. There's lots of spicy cherry notes with blackberry and plum. Serve with slow-roasted pork shoulder and lots of greens. 2017 Foggy Hill Pinot Noir is an exquisite expression of this unique very cool maritime terroir. The colour has a lovely intense purple hue. The aromatics are delicate and floral with spice but the profound underlying terroir expression is of complex ripe strawberry puree and a hint of earth. It has moderate alcohol and finely textured structure. The flavours float on water not alcohol. The best expression of Foggy Hill terroir yet.

Treat yourself to a multi-Gold, 97pt very appealing Tempranillo from the dynamic Zonte's Footstep team. Madrugador means 'early riser' in Spanish, a reference to the early ripening Tempranillo variety. It makes a delicious partner served with lamb cutlets! “This is fruit forward and inviting with dark plum, blueberry, rich floral and warm spice aromas on the nose, leading to a generously weighted palate offering succulent fruit intensity backed by fine, grainy tannins. For Aaron Brasher in The Real Review it offers: " Lifted and evocative aromas of mulberry, dark cherry, cola, spice and sarsaparilla. Brooding and powerful on the palate, lashings of dark fruits, licorice, sour cherry and cedar. Bright, crunchy acidity and grippy, granular tannins round the wine out very nicely. 92pts".

Colour is deep red. The nose shows aniseed, tar, FruChocs and spicy oak. The fine palate entry has mulberry, cranberry, aniseed and liquorice flowing delicately with Rhone-like spicy, chewy, savoury tannins.

This blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a site that overlooks the Chianti hills. Rich and complex this wine from Carpineto Sillano has powerful flavours of blackberry liquorice and spice will evolve in the bottle over many years to come.
