This beautiful wine displays an attractive ruby red colour in a glass. The well balanced bouquet emits medium intensity fragrances of blackberry, dried herbs and earth. It offers coffee, toasted oak and vanilla characters towards the end. The nose smoothly makes way for a lush palate, filled with flavours of juicy forest fruits and soft vanilla, leading to savoury notes. Together with palate coating tannins, these characters culminate in a cocoa and coffee dominated finish.

Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon is another match that delivers something greater than the sum of its parts. Blend the rich upfront flavour and a lingering aftertaste of Cabernet, with the silky softness consistency of Shiraz, add a splash of Merlot, and you have a Rouge of super delicious deliciousness. This blend has been simply foot-crushed, hand-plunged during wild ferment and basket pressed to old oak for some sleepy time. The Cabernet, Shiraz & Merlot are all from our Quindalup vineyard.

Wonderful garnet red colour showing aromas of red and blackberries and cedar on the nose. Rich forest fruits and licks of vanillin oak on the palate. Hand plunged in open topped fermenters, with nine months in seasoned French oak barriques.

A medium body Merlot with dry, fine tannins and intense dark fruits. French Oak lurks in the background with a fresh tobacco nose. Beautiful plum purple rim in colour makes this a Merlot to remember. Elegant and sophisticated.

Grape Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 86%; Merlot 14% Purple with crimson edges looks serious in the glass. Tobacco leaf feint cassis purple plums a complex nose which adds weight to the serious theme. Quality MR Cabernet leads the charge here. A wine with high cheek- bones. Just ripe cabernet gives this sinew and poise. Merlot is subservient almost hard to detect. Terrific wine, at almost twice the price.

Aromatic and brightly fruited, Stella Bella Cabernet Merlot shows ripe cassis fruit, savoury dried herbs and well-integrated cedary oak. Elegant and fruit pure with supple fine-grained tannins it is a benchmark example of Western Australian Cabernet Merlot.

Grape variety - 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. Oak maturation - 100% of the wine is aged in French oak barriques (20% new) for 15 months. Colour - Deep red with purple hue. Aroma - Ripe with dark fruit characters and toasty-cedar oak. The wine opens with mulberry, currant and blackberry with underlying complexity from bay leaf, gravel dust and subtle perfume. Palate - Full with a soft supple texture and fine tannins. Once again there are ripe fruit characters of mulberry, blackberry and boysenberry with cedar oak, bay leaf and lavender. The wine has a long soft finish. Food matches - Meat dishes, saucy pastas and cheeses. Peak drinking - Drinking well now but will develop further over the next 5 to 8 years.

Grape variety - 100% Shiraz. Oak maturation - Portions of old and new French oak for 15 months. Colour - Medium-deep red with purple hue. Aroma - The wine opens with lifted spice and pepper with a dusty floral fragrance. There are ripe fruit characters of plum and mulberry with savoury oak. Palate - A plump, firm and textured mouthfeel with fine grain tannins. There are ripe fruit characters of plum and mulberry with pepper, aniseed, toasty oak and camphor. Food matches - Traditio
