The Hay Shed Hill Block 2 Cabernet Sauvignon displays ripe berry aromas of brilliant intensity with underlying earthen nature along with typical characters well noted from Margaret River. There is a depth here that is hard to fault, in fact its downright breathtaking. The palate itself is quite substantial, even by Western Australian standards; displaying fully ripe, fleshy sweet fruit filling the mid palate with great palate extension driven by the ripe and mature tannin.

From one of Margaret River's best and original producers, Vasse Felix comes this excellent Cabernet Merlot blend has great concentration of blackcurrant fruit with cedary oak and fine tannins - a style with elegance and finesse rather than power.

Established in 1982 and run by second generation Ed Tomlinson, this fruit driven, medium bodied wine has notes of ripe black fruits and finishes with perfect length and a wonderful texture.

Devil's Lair The Hidden Cave is a concept from a Margaret River icon that showcases the daring with a twist of exoticism. The Cabernet Shiraz delivers aromas mocha, coffee and cassis with a hint of star anise. Tobacco leaf is also present which gives way to a rich and voluptuous palate of blackberries and dark chocolate. A truly engaging blend.

Master Margaret River winemaker, Cliff Royale, has done it again with this superb new release. The fruit is sourced here from three regional sub districts and matured in old French oak for roughly 12 months. This wine shows the style of the vintage and quite likely the impact of the small crop. In such years, Cabernet Sauvignon in particular, has a complex but somewhat subdued nose, where the wine hints of the underlying power and complexity but takes years to reveal its true colours. So here we see smouldering red currant, black currant and mulberry, with a floral, violet lift, sitting over cedar and tar. On the palate there is concentration and length - dark fruits combining with firm tannin and leather and tarry notes.

This red wine is a delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, procured from picturesque vineyards in the renowned Margaret River wine region. Poured into a glass, it shows a medium deep red colour accompanied by purple hues. The fragrant nose offers lifted aromas of dark berries and spice coupled with dried herb and chocolate hints. The flavoursome and supple palate is filled with dark plum and cherry flavours. Creamy vanilla nuances enhance the palate, while incredibly soft tannins lead to a satisfying finish. This drink can be enjoyed upon release. Serve it with red wine braised beef chuck, filet mignon or double chocolate cake.
