This wine is dark ruby red in colour and displays ripe cabernet aromas of tomato bush and red fruits, complemented by earthy Merlot tones of plum and mulberry. Fine tannins and the subtle use of oak give the palate a soft lingering finish.

This 2021 Mount Pleasant Tempranillo Touriga from Hunter Valley is a vibrant and complex red wine. On the nose, it offers aromas of cherry, dried herbs, and earthy notes. The palate is full and well-structured with flavours of blackberry, plum, and cedar. The finish is smooth with just a touch of spice. The colour is a deep ruby with a purplish hue. The Red Claw is the complimenting range to the estate Yabby Lake wines that call the Mornington Peninsula home. This Shiraz though is sourced from the Cambrian rich soils of Heathcote, a region which has quickly become one of Australia's premier Shiraz growing areas. Dark berry and spice dominated, there are underlying notes of pepper and crushed herbs. Fermented in 100% French Oak, there is a subtlety to this Shiraz that lends itself to many cuisine matches.
