The Tate family are one of the most famous wine names in Western Australia, especially in Margaret River. It was the Tate family who began Evans & Tate decades ago and today the Tate name is re-born under the Franklin Tate Estates label. Franklin, son of John, has sourced some of the most prestigious vineyard sites in Margaret River and has highly regarded winemaker Rory Clifton-Parks to hand-craft the quality wines, like this traditional Chardonnay.

McGuigan produce a flavoursome wine here with a soft, smooth, creamy palate. It has the great sweet tropical fruit and melon flavours of Chardonnay with a touch of caramel oak providing a lingering clean finish.

This wine opens with aromas of honeysuckle and tropical fruits such as paw paw. There is a touch of complexity from the wild fermentation, just enough to let you know that under the pretty facade is a fun and adventurous wine. The palate is an alluring combination of fresh fruits, spices such as white pepper and just enough wildness to keep you coming back for another glass. It finishes with a fresh cleansing line of citrus zest.

A rich round palate of tropical fruit, melons and stone fruits pinned together by a lovely balance of citrus acidity and mineral toastiness. This is one of the best unoaked Chardonnays on the market.

Pale straw yellow in colour. Aromas of ripe peaches, stone fruits and fig with a delicious waft of wild honey and native wildflowers. Lindeman's Early Harvest Crisp Chardonnay is a medium bodied wine with lively acidity and aromas of tropical fruit salads with subtle spicy vanilla oak undertone on the palate. It contains less alcohol and less calories than regular Lindeman's wines, yet still delivers the same outstanding Lindeman's quality.

Elephant in the Room Chardonnay is medium, deep straw yellow in colour with a highly expressive nose of ripe peach and melon aromas, struck match and notes of creamy oak. The palate is bold and upfront with a burst peach, guava and melon flavours with a rich and soft texture building to a mouthcoating and full back palate framed by subtle toasty oak. Fresh acidity gives balance before a soft dry finish.
