Santa Marta Limoncello is slightly cloudy opaque yellow in appearance. Good clean lemon zest nose with a hint of white pepper. Syrupy but not sickly-sweet palate with balance provided by fresh, zesty lemon zest notes. Lemon zest notes last throughout the long silky finish which again is well balanced by citrus acidity.

Inspired by traditional Rock & Rye recipes, Hochstadters Slow and Low combines a master blend of aged rye whiskies, three citrus peels: lemon, grapefruit and orange before being infused with a tiny amount of 100% raw, local honey and pure cane rock candy - creating a drink similar to an Old Fashioned. The drink itself is mellow with slightly sweet flavours exceptionally balanced with citrus, grapefruit and rock candy notes. Hombo Shuzo was established in 1872, and is located at the southern tip of the Satsuma peninsula in Kagoshima, on the island of Kyushu. They produce 'Imo' Shochu from freshly harvested local Kogane Sengan sweet potatoes which grow especially well in the southern Satsuma climate.

Colour: shiny and colourless. Scent: very expressive, nicely floral, with warm tones, finely peppered with subtil notes of vanilla. Flavour: full and mellow, with floral notes of aromatic marshmallow and exotic blossoms. Alc./Vol.: 18%
