Josef Chromy Bohemia by Josef Chromy Chardonnay

This is an excellent example of cool climate Tasmanian Chardonnay. Restrained style of partially oak-fermented Chardonnay with buttery, stone fruit aromas and a creamy palate owing to post fermentation battonage. Perfect pal to chicken parma, creamy pasta dishes or vintage cheddar.

Russell & Suitor Son of a Bull Riesling Pinot Gris Gewürztraminer

The first vintage of this exciting blend from Northern Tasmania. Winemaker Alex Russell is famed for his Riverland-based Alejandro wines and is now trying his hand at something new.Pale and bright. Very fragrant lift of lime, pear, apple and quince. Light-bodied yet intensely flavoured, with a concentrated mix of white and green fruit, hints of musk and lychee, lively acidity and textural interest.

Devil's Corner Sauvignon Blanc

A beautifully made Tasmanian Sauvignon Blanc at a great price! Devil's Corner has clean, fresh grassy notes with terrific concentration of passionfruit and citrus on the palate. Crisp finishing with great balance of acidity, leaving the flavours linger in the mouth.

Holm Oak Pinot Gris

Riversdale Estate Pisces Chardonnay

Ah, Tasmanian Chardonnay, never leave me. There's a creaminess here, a generosity that entices you to drink more. Peach yoghurt, almond croissant and custard apple do their rounds on the palate before the texture and minerals start coming through, bringing with them some zestier flavours - lemon drop and green apple. This could go either way and, while it is drinking very happily now, I'd be equally interested to see what a few years might bring. Drink: 2022-2025. Price: $35. Rating: 90/100.

Devil's Corner Sparkling Cuvèe

The cooler climate in Tasmania has always been an ideal place for Pinot Noir to grow as this variety requires longer ripening periods. Chardonnay on the other hand just thrive the extra time to develop more elegant floral, crisp green apple, citrus flavour and natural acidity. When these two join forces, they become the classic base blend ideal for Sparkling wine. This is well balanced with a dry, refreshing finish.

Distant South Tasmania Sauvignon Blanc

A fresh fruit filled palate with tropical fruits balanced with crisp acidity and finishing with good persistence of flavour.

Coldstream Hills Tasmania Pinot Gris

Coldstream Hills was established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday and has since grown to become one of Australia's leading and most awarded small wineries. With it's fruit sourced from cool climate Tasmanian vineyards, the wine has notes of fragrant apple blossom with ripe fruits of yellow peach and mandarin, augmented with hints of five spice. The palate is textural and generous in style, delivering ripe stone fruit and cumquat flavours held in balance by fine phenolics due to the seasoned oak maturation, that lengthen and drive the palate.

Josef Chromy Sauvignon Blanc

The Josef Chromy Sauvignon Blanc provides aromas of ripe lychee and sweet gooseberry with fresh herbaceous notes. The palate is soft and full with flavours of lychee, elderflower and lemongrass.
