A bright light emerging from the Hunter, Boydell's are kicking some goals already. The wines are made by the talented Liz Silkman, from quality fruit.Bright mid lemon colour. Subtle white peach and ginger aromas. Clean, dry and fresh with good citrussy fruit intensity and stonefruit depth in a youthful and spicy frame with good development potential.

Hungerford Hill's latest Moscato release ticks all the boxes for the style, being an attractive pink colour, with refreshing effervescence balancing the sweet fruit.Pale orange pink. Stonefruit, lychee and candied mango aromas. Very sweet and jubey with layers of red apple, peach and orange rind, creamy mousse and bubble, and a sweet confectionary finish.

A different expression altogether sans the benefit of bottle age. Youthful. Zesty. Punchy. As filigreed of talcy acidity and fine boned as the rest of the crew, this is guava, lemon grass and sherbet, teeming along a line of candied citrus chew. Lemon aromas with subtle hints of green apple come through, providing a wonderful full fruit flavoured mouthfeel.

Easy drinking and very approachable. Smooth oak from some barrel fermentation gives this wine backbone and longevity, rather than dominates. Some crisp citrus and stonefruit characters remain at the fore, keeping it fresh.
