Z Wine's Rustica Shiraz is an intense crimson red with purple hues followed by aromas of ripe cherry and red plum which are complimented by hints of pepper and spice with lifted perfumed notes. The palate is warm and full flavoured, displaying generous sweet red fruit, such as cherry, raspberry and plum. These fruits are couple with cedar spice notes and the soft mouth-filling tannins carry the fruit as well as providing structure and length to the wine. This wine is an exemplary example of a lifted, fruit filled Barossa Shiraz suitable for drinking in its youth.

Back in the 1840s, Pastor Kavel led the Lutherans on their journey to the Barossa Valley to embark on a new life of religious freedom. From that mass migration a dynasty began. The Reserve Shiraz is deepest dark red with a very youthful and vibrant garnet hue. The aromas are powerful and complex with a wealth of fruit ranging from ripe black cherries and blackberries with hints of eucalypt and spice. The rich and full palate displays soft flavours of plum skin, mulberry and hints of vanilla and blackberry, These abundant flavours are underpinned by fine vanillan oak and defined by exciting spicy tannins

With fruit sourced from vineyards across the Barossa, this Shiraz expresses the characters of the variety and the Barossa. The wine is matured in old French oak and tanks, with each parcel kept separate until the final blending prior to bottling in October 2017. Deep, dark hues of purple and burgundy, with dark plum, lashings of pepper, whispers of vanilla and allspice. Firm tannins powder-coat the palate, gently drying and setting up persistent flavours of red plum, star anise and aniseed.

Formed in 2005, Artisans of Barossa is a group of wine producers with a like-minded approach to winemaking and wine enjoying. This wine is blended from barrels selected by the winemakers from each of their cellars. On the nose, there are aromas of dark plum and chocolate with hints of cardamom pod, clove, aniseed and cracked black pepper. The palate is rich with dark fruits and dark chocolate supported by a long savoury line of gentle tannin. The wine finishes smooth and long in the classic style of great Barossa Shiraz. Pirathon Blue Barossa Valley Shiraz The fruit for the Pirathon Blue Shiraz is sourced from low-yielding vineyards of traditional family growers in the north-western Barossa districts of Greenock, Moppa, Belvidere, Koonunga and Ebenezer. Each vineyard is harvested separately when the fruit is readythis can take up to two months. After picking, each parcel of fruit is crushed separately into open-top fermenters. During fermentation, hand pump-overs gently extracted colour and flavour from the grapes. The juice is fermented on skins for a week or more and pumped over by hand. After pressing, new and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads are filled and the wine is allowed to mature approximately two years.
