Run Amok Shiraz Cabernet is a blend of Hunter Valley Shiraz and Hilltops Cabernet Sauvignon. Both were fermented in open fermenters and blended prior to bottling. The resulting wine has a purple hue with aromas of earth and spice. The palate reveals flavours of plums, blackcurrants, oak and spice. Pair with rich, creamier dishes such as lamb shanks or fattier meats of wild game.

Considered as the best Br-B-Que wine or a wine for all occasions, this versatile blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is one to please most. This wine over delivers in quality and is exceptional value for money, with flavours of black and red currants and red cherries. This lovely fruit rich wine can best accompany beef, lamb, pork and sausages.

Leogate Estate was established in 2009 by Bill and Vicki Widin, however, their vines are much older. The winery has maintained a 5 Red Star rating for well over a decade now, and their Western Slope has rarely fallen below 95pts in that same period, such is the impressive consistency of this Reserve Shiraz. The 2017 vintage presented a smaller yield vintage for Hunter reds, which means concentration of flavour has been high. This is well deserving of a place in your cellar. “It puts on a classy display based on a core of cherry-plum flavour though it's also appropriately adorned in smoky, cedary oak. This outstanding premium wine is deep crimson in colour. Intense berry fruit aromas, with hints of delicate oak. The palate is medium bodied, with rich blackcurrant fruit flavours. The tannins are soft & silky smooth. It's drinking beautifully now, but will continue to improve in the bottle.

Shiraz from the hunter Valley is a distinctive and unique wine which ages gracefully. Vibrant red fruit aromas flow through to a medium bodied palate which is long and seamless. The red plum and black cherry aromas lead to a fruit driven and softly textured palate with background vanillin and spice from oak barrel maturation.
