Like a smooth jam session, this wine is a rich medley of ripe plums, red berries and lovely spice flavours with a long lingering finish.

This wonderfully elegant Shiraz shows intense, pristine, blackberry fruit and ripe, silky tannins. It almost has a Pinot Noir elegance to it and, luckily, the quality of future vintages will only be getting better too as Voyager's new clones come on line.

In the glass: Medium to deep red black. On the nose: Full of bright red cherry with hints of red olive and fine oak spice. On the palate: Quite a jubey and appealing red fruit core giving long and silken flavours that are generous and classy. Fine oak gives subtle support throughout. Lovely now yet with good mid-term potential.

Vasse Felix produces fine Margaret River reds with great balance and style. This traditional blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon shows sweet mid-palate fruit with liquorice and spice and good tannin structure. Fantastic French oak integration enabling soft tannin complexity and a lovely length of flavour.

Rich mulberry, black cherries and soft white pepper on the nose followed by blackberry and dark cherries and layers of vanillan oak and dark chocolate on the palate.

Bringing four different grape varieties together from around Western Australia, this wine is a great choice if you love Cabernet Sauvignon but want to try something different. Soft and juicy with a fleshy fruitiness. Grainy tannins and subtle oak supporting the savoury plummy fruit characters. If you're looking for current drinking, then this one is right on the money.

The pinot noir grape variety seems to be well suited to the cool climate environment of the Denmark sub-region of the Great Southern. The pinot noir fruit from Robertsons vineyard typically displays floral and perfumed characters with an underlying dense cherry and raspberry fruit profile followed by a subtle savoury finish. The Wine is a fuller styled pinot with perfumed aromas of red raspberries, cherries, subtle earthiness and spice. These characters follow through on the palate with a medium weight and textured mouth feel with soft tannins and a long finish. This wine is well suited to complement red meat dishes especially duck. Drink now or allow this to continue to develop in the bottle for up to 7 years.

Margaret River Shiraz Viognier 2018. The great red wines of the northern Rhone in France are made up of two grape varieties one red variety being Syrah, what we refer to as Shiraz in Australia and one white variety namely Viognier.Intense aromas of red fruits, cherries, cranberries, with liquorice coated raspberry confectionary sweetness. Layers of spice, cashew nuts and tabacco dance together with the subtle apricot lift.A lovely soft and round wine. A generous mid pallet of the red fruits and spice dominate the mouthfeel.
