The dense and taut palate is packed with sweet berry flavours of blueberries, dark plums and smoky spices, supported by a gentle touch of oak toast. These aromas and flavours are balanced by fine tannins, offering a soft mouthfeel. The finish is supple and captivating. Made for consumption upon release, this enticing Shiraz can also be cellared for a decade. It tastes excellent with grilled eggplant, hamburgers, and aged Parmesan cheese.

The palate is smooth and persistent, with blackcurrant and spicy oak flavours, before finishing with soft and subtle tannins.

This specially produced classic Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon was estate grown and handcrafted using old vine fruit. A soft, full bodied wine which shows lovely ripe fruit characters with a hint of mocha and blackcurrant, it has generous mouthfill with lovely soft lingering tannins.

The intensity of the fruit and varietal characteristics of Langhorne Creek soft tannin Cabernets were integrated with fine oak to develop this wine.

The Langhorne Creek region is known to produce good Shiraz/ Cabernet Blends and our Quintessential has Cabernet and Shiraz blended together equally by our winemaker Peter Douglas. It is a perfect match and will age gracefully for many years if you can allow yourself to leave them in the cellar long enough.Alternatively enjoy it now amd keep a few for later. We have only produced 105 dozen of this wine and have numbered each bottle in honour of its true pedigree.

A lovely approachable wine from the guys at III Associates. Plum flavours drive the wine with a soft, plush mouth feel and intergrated tannins. Lovely toasty oak is also prevalent with nice blending of the Cabernet fruit.
